Bergen International Sculpture Park is an installation of monumental stone sculptures located on a beautiful 3-acre property in the foothills of west-central Alberta. The sculptures were created by artists from around the world during sculpture symposia organized, hosted, and funded by owner and sculptor, Morton Burke, on his acreage in Bergen Alberta.

Bergen Rocks is open to the public  year round, May to October is the best time to visit. Take a virtual tour online, or visit the park in Bergen for a self-guided or artist-guided tour. The park is only 10 mins from Sundre.

Who Is
Morton Burke

Morton Burke has lived in the Sundre and Bergen area most of his life. His interest in sculpting began with ice and snow sculptures on personal projects and in community events. He began working in stone in 2005 when he was invited to participate in a symposium in Okotoks, Alberta. Since then he has participated in 6  international symposia, his sculptures are installed in Vietnam, Russia, Canada, and Korea. Wanting to raise interest and tourism around art and sculpture in Alberta, Morton developed the Bergen International Symposium Program in 2008, since then he has since hosted four events.
